Just had a three day weekend with my little love and I can't get enough of her. She's always dancing, singing, and laughing up a storm. She doesn't say much in terms of words but if she even hears a beat of rhythm (even from a passing car) she starts swaying and shaking her shoulders. Her current favorite is "A Pirate Says Arrr" by her beloved Backyardigans. But we've also been teaching her a mean Axl Rose sway and if the mood strikes her when "Welcome to the Jungle" comes on, she's pretty much got it nailed.
As far as talking...I'm trying not to put much pressure on her. She clearly understands us when we talk to her and puts sounds together - and she will point to stuff and say "what's this?" or "who's that?" which I find funny. Very inquisitive. And she says stuff like Da Da, Mum, and duck. Oh and every dog she sees or bark she hears gets a "woof woof" out of her. She gets her point across and something tells me when she does start talking she'll never stop and it will be a lot of opinions so we're ok to just take it as it comes.
When we go out to the store she loves getting people's attention. Not one ounce of stranger danger and even tried to give the woman at the Apple store a "beso" today. (Thankfully the woman declined.) She is a total flirt and makes me smile.
So one thing she's totally become obsessed with is a smoothie. Jamba Juice or homemade, doesn't matter. If its cold, tastes like fruit and can drink it through a straw, she's hooked and won't stop until its all gone. Here are the pics to prove it.
